I'm sorry for the excuses and putting off what sorely needs to be done. I know it's been 14 months since I said I would finish For the Sake of Maron, and I'm sorry to say it's still not complete. I have issues with writing big dramatic scenes. Believe me, they're not my forte. I appreciate the people who still continue to review (and demand!) closure, because it helps me remember I still need to do it.
My daughter is my world, and to support my family, I have to continue to work, and doing that work doesn't leave me much free time to write like I wanted. In fact, I am utterly swamped right now. (Who knew the world of textbooks could be so overwhelming?) So for those of you still hanging on to a thread of hope that this story will be finished, keep hanging on, because I will make it to the end!
I would love to get feedback from anyone who has been following the story, if you haven't given up on me, that is. It is still available at ff.net,
and I may revise it here and there, but I want to finish it first before making any serious revisions.
